Martha Cecila one of the most respected romance novel in the Philippines. Some Filipinos may find her stories typical and corny, but she writes only what is realistic. I used to read her stories when I was in high school, especially during summer time. My friends and I would collect her romance books and exchange books after we have read our own books.
In all fairness, we have learned a lot from her books. The realities of life, of love and of all the people around us are just some of the things that I learned from her books. She’s one of the prime authors in Philippines that write more than romance in her books. The Philippines is more than proud to have her!
